Our Mission
At STEAM Inventors, we believe that every child deserves personalized education that adapts to their unique learning style, interests, and pace. We’re not just teaching coding—we’re building computational thinkers, creative problem-solvers, and confident innovators.
Founded in Columbus, GA, we’ve spent over a decade perfecting our approach to STEM education. We combine research-backed methodologies with individualized attention to help students not just learn technology, but master the thinking skills that will serve them for life.
From preschoolers taking their first steps in computational thinking to teenagers building real-world applications, we meet each student exactly where they are and guide them to where they want to go.
Personalized Learning
Every student gets a custom learning plan based on their age, interests, and goals. No generic group classes—just focused, individualized instruction.

Meet Our Founder
A parent’s journey to revolutionizing STEM education
As a parent and technologist with 27 years in the industry, I saw two problems converging: my own children sitting through ineffective group coding classes, and the massive gap between what schools were teaching and what the technology-driven workplace actually requires.
My two boys weren’t getting personalized attention in programs where one instructor tried to teach 15 kids with vastly different skill levels. But the bigger issue wasn’t just about my children—it was about a generation growing up in a world being transformed by AI and automation, yet receiving education designed for a different era.
With a Master’s in Statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute and an MBA from Georgia Tech, I’d spent decades watching technology reshape every industry. I knew firsthand that computational thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability weren’t optional skills anymore—they were essential for every career path.
“Every child deserves education that prepares them for the real world—one where technology shapes every career and adaptability matters more than memorization.”
I began researching how children actually learn these critical skills, studying frameworks from MIT, Stanford, and Harvard. The answer was clear: personalized instruction that meets each student where they are and connects to real-world applications.
What started as tutoring neighborhood kids has grown into STEAM Inventors—a program serving families throughout Columbus with one mission: prepare every child for a technology-driven future through individualized, research-backed education.
Whether your child is naturally drawn to technology or just beginning to explore it, whether they’re building advanced robotics or discovering coding for the first time, we adapt to their unique pace and interests. Because in a world transformed by AI, every child—regardless of their starting point—deserves education that helps them thrive.

Every student receives individualized instruction based on their comprehensive assessment, learning style, and personal goals.
Flexible Progression
Students advance through our belt system when they’ve mastered concepts—not when a calendar says they should move on.
Computational Thinking
We teach the five core skills—decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, algorithm design, and debugging—that apply far beyond coding.
Real World Skills
From digital citizenship to AI literacy, students learn technology skills that matter in actual careers and daily life.
Parent Partnership
Regular progress reports, open communication, and parent portal access keep you informed every step of the way.

How We Teach
Our approach to building confident, capable problem-solvers
Assessment First
Every student starts with a comprehensive assessment of their cognitive development, current skills, and learning preferences—giving us a clear starting point.
Proven Learning Path
We create an individualized curriculum that matches your child’s pace, interests, and developmental stage—not a one-size-fits-all syllabus.
Mastery Based Progression
Students advance through our belt system only when they’ve truly mastered concepts, ensuring solid foundations before adding complexity.
Growth Mindset
We celebrate mistakes as learning opportunities and teach “yet” language—”I can’t do this… yet.” Intelligence grows through effort.
